When I brake and am almost at a complete stop, I hear a grinding/groaning sound, my brake pedal gets hard and kinda pulsates, and it pulls to the left. It only does this right when I am about to stop. I don't have a problem slowing down before then. I have changed the wheel bearings and both calipers. Anyone have any thoughts on what it could be? I really need some advice here!
I dont think its the breaklines...it sounds like the pads...but whats odd is u said ur pads have half wear left...I needed new pads at 14,500 miles on a brand new truck.
Did you check the inside pad or only the outside?
Change the pads, they are cheap. Get lifetime warranty ones and never buy another set again.
