You could always do an H22, H23 or F20b. They will just bolt in with a few wiring problems.

THATS WHAT I'M DEBATING ON. A NEW TRANS (REBUILD CURRENT, REPLACE W/ 1 IMPORTED) FOR CURRENT MOTOR VS: H22 SWAP. I'VE READ H22 IS TALLER & OIL PAN IS BIGGER ON H22. WHICH WOULDNT BE A PROB ON A HONDA W/ A NORMAL ENGINE BAY, BUT I DONT KNOW IF I WANNA TRY AN MAKE IT FIT IN A CAR THAT LAYS OUT. BESIDE THE FACT THAT I THINK IT NEEDS NEW ENGINE MOUNTS. I GUESS I'D HAVE TO MOUNT IT USING WHAT FRONT/REAR MOUNTS ARE NECCESSARY & BUILD MY OWN SIDE MOUNTS. I WAS JUST HOPING TO BE "DONE" W/ THE CAR FOR AWHILE, NOW THIS TRANNY SHIT POPS UP.

The F20b is a little harder to find, but it is only a 2.0 liter. It might be a little smaller than what you have now. I think it is somewhere in the 190 hp range. From what I have heard it is comparable to the H22.

That's a yes for me. I'm trying to find a new house to buy with a shop. Once I find that, my car will be torn apart and laid out.My current house only has a one car garage and the Prelude stays there and my wagon sits outside.
