Forget the price... I want to know more about the technique.

I paid 500 to get them done. Kinda pricey but they said they look really good and the are confident that they are strong. They cut and reinforced them somehow, I wont be able to get them until tomorrow after I get paid. Sooooooo I'll post some pics up of the prelude this weekend to see how the fuger sits. Cant wait to see what problem I run into next!

I go my spindles today.

They were forged steel. They baked them in an oven overnight then cut and welded them back together while hot. They plated the welds with stell, TIG welded with a nickle rod I believe, and they burried them in sand to let them cool slowly. They look bad ass and look strong as hell. If they break it wont be on the part that was welded, either above or below.

They were forged??

I wish this part was easier..
