What subs are good

diamond audio, jl audio, audiobahn,

i prefer diamond audio.

xtant audio has some subs that hit really hard..i think they sound great..also kicker solobaric l7 12's hit hard as f*** as well..those r what i would go with..or the jl w7's..theres alotta good brands that sell some hard hittin subs..those r some of my personal favorites..l8..

JL is your best bang for your buck I have owned about 20 different subs in my time and i have never been happier with subs then my JLs. I have W0's in my beater and W7's in my S-10 and they both bang but still sound great. PLus if you treat them right they will last forever, my W0's are 5 years old and never had a problem, plus they cost $100 each so you dont have to spend alot to get great quality

don't buy JL... sure they sound good but they're expensive as fuck. if you want a speaker that will blow your balls off get some crossfire BMFXT212's. they run about 150-175 each and they can take more punishment than anything i've seen. just trust me on this DON'T BUY JL.

JL's are somewhat expensive, but there is no way id pay $175 for a crossfire sub, when i could pick up a 12w6v2 for $200. Theres always JL haters out there, but ive never delt with a better audio company, great product, great customer service, and their employees seem to know about the products they sell.





why would you pay 200 for a sub thats not gonna hit nearly as hard... if anyone was keeping up with it Crossfire has the USACi world record right now.... and you wanna buy JL??? i know from expirience that JL is a good brand hell i worked for a JL Dealer but why argue with hard facts, Crossfire is a better sub for the money PERIOD.

I was useing Alpine type S 12" i liked them. They sound good. But now i have a single cab truck so its kinda hard to run 2 12's with out a blow through. So now i have an old Planet Audio Zetar 10" and a hifonics 500 watt class D amp. DAMN thats all i got to say about that. a friend of mine has two P.A. zetar 10's with some cheap phoenix digital (not phoenix gold) amp. even with the cheap amp the 10's hit like crazy. they are some serious subs!!!

JL or Eclipse has my vote.... Memphis if your cashflow is tight

when i was in school i worked at a speaker plant for my internship you would be suprised how cheaply a lot of subs are made and by how many brands are made with the same parts

who cares if the subs hold a spl record?That has little to do with the sub itself.It has more to do with the enclosure,charging systems and most importantly the cab of the spl vehicle.Why would anyone base their sub choices or opinions on a spl system that has no daily real world use?Crossfire subs may hold a record sure,but can you honestly say that your going to go drive in a car with lexan windows and 6 batteries in a 6 cubic foot seating area?Not to mention a freqency response that is totally useless for the music that your whole system was designed for in the first place.Go with subs that have proven themselves to be loud in a real world system.Not that crossfire is bad.just dont buy subs just because they hold a record.Actually JL subs hold a record too:they are in the most award winning vehicles of any sub in history,And even their low end line has been said to be the best sub for the bucks.Need I say more?

if u want to talk about subs that holds records well i've got a news flash 4 u just about every brand of sub has held a record hell right now pioneer holds the world record at 180.3 db and talk about JL winning the most awards kicker has been winning awards and setting records since the first competition ever held in both spl and sq and crossfire is not only good 4 spl but also 4 sq i've never heard of a shittie name brand sub just a shittie box and /or install

Like i said in other post as far as i know nobody has ever taken a sub of the same size of ever brand and put them in the same size box with the same wattage amp and check the sq and the spl and in till they do nobody will ever know witch one is the best!!!!!
