HELP!!!!!!!!!

hey there's this 4runner for sale down the street. Had a bad bottom end but comes with a brand new reman'ed one. it has the 22RE motor and it is 4wd. i was wondering if i could just bolt in a 2wd tranny??? i wanna lay it out.
