hey you guys with 302's

did you have a problem with your steering being in the way of your motor, or your motor being in the way of your steering? the motor is mounted off of the crossmember between the control arms and it looks like the center linkage bar on the steering is goign to hit the oil pan. am i wrong??? what did you guys do???
