20X9 on an S10......

I am looking to get 20x9 wheels and was wondering how badly they rub in the front? I was running 18X7 upfront and the inside of the rim was torn up from rubbing, so im assuming the 20x9 would be worse.

Would replacing the control arms with the barnyard tubular control arms help?
