93 Toyota frame

I just pickup a new project, its a 2wd 93 4-runner, I am thinking about stock flooring it. All I want is to lay rockers, I know I need drop spindles, but do I need to switch the front suspension out to 2wd truck suspension? Or is it the same, also I have axcess to a thunderbird irs rear end is it worth the effort to install it. Let me now what you think, this is my second bagged vehicle so any pionters are welcome.
