hardbody torsions?

i unbolted it all from the control arms and loosened the nuts under the cab and took them off, a small rod with a square piece on the end fell out, and now i dont see how to pull the long ass rod out from under there, its going through a hole and theres something way bigger than the hole on each end.. maybe im retarded but someone help me out lol.
