Vacuum lines on a 2.3 motor (need to go)

I have an 88 isuzu pup with the 2.3L motor. I would like to get rid of most of the vacuum lines on the left side of the motor. I have heard that some of it may be for the emissions. I am body dropping it and need the room. Please HELP.
