Rear Crossmember Q

How far away from my axle should I put my new crossmember? I want to mount it and all of my 4-link in front of my axle. Is there enough room? There's probably 38 Inches between the axle and the cab. Also want to mount bags on 4-link, if that affects anything. Also need to know the name of that site that has all the juicy info, it's called baginit.com or something.
