Flipping Upper ball joint more drop?

ok i have bagged the front of my truck and was told to flip the lower ball joint to get more drop and prevent binding however nothing was really said about the upper one would i get any more drop or any advantage to doing this i've seen a few people who have done it sorry for my ignorance this is the first time i've done this
