They finally sent me one after 6 months of waiting, looks good and is HEAVY. The old ones are cast and have a flange you need to nut and bolt the wheel to, the new ones look like part of the steering wheel.
But what pops up on ebay a week later? An old Mazda Lecarra adapter WITH a Formuling steering wheel for 35 bucks (half what I paid for the new adapter). Ah hell. Oh well, my nephew needed it for his new longbed.
