does a diagonal link keep the rear end centered through a big travel 6-12 inches

i am running a pan hard on my 2 link and it is screwing up my 23z every time i drop it it rubs tire and rim ,i have to run 2 link for now so only option is this or some expensive tottaly pollished link please help, i have a diagonal link allready does any one no how to mount it
