Shaving Dakota Tailights

Does anyone have any in progress pics of shaving Dakota tailights. I'm trying to prove my bodyman wrong so i don't get stuck with 1/4" thick of bondo on my sh*t. I know he's all about doing the wrong way so if anyone can post some pics or email them to me that would be dope.
