88-98 Laying Problem

Hey, I have a 4.3l Fullsize chevy. 97. Im trying to make it lay up front with 20s. I did the fenders and now I need to chop up the control arms. Does anyone have pictures or kinda a procedure on how you did this? Is there anything you had to buy other than tools? oh, and do I have to notch the frame for the tie rod? Any help is appreciated..
