My Friday the 13TH!

Well mine started out good then went to shit!! Ive been driving my truck to work all week with no problems & on that day-the 13th I took my truck to a friends shop to have the toe on the front set. I drove the truck there no problems, but my boy calls me back later to tell me that the truck wont crank!!! So I leave work & go down there to see if I can figure out the problem & of course I cant. Anyway I get it towed back to my work & we get it on the lift. We figured it was a fuel problem cause its got spark & its wanting to crank, but when it does turn over it only stays cranked for a sec or two. So I change the fuel filter-that really sucked & it was bad. So I try to start it again & still the samething. So now Ive got to drop the tank & change out the pump. The only good things about that is that the pump is under warranty so I wont have to pay for another one, but it still sucks!!

I was having the same problem, changed the fuel pump and it still wouldn't start, turns out my coil was shot so you might wanna check that because it's way easier to replace the coil than the fuel pump the coil was still shooting spark to the plugs but it wasn't how enough to ignite the fuel mixture. Another way you can see if it is the fuel pump is to put one end of a jumper wire the "Fp" Terminal and the other in the "+B" terminal and your fuel pump should come on if it's working.
