front bracket gussets

when i weld my upper front brackets in (1993 toyota) and trim the shock tower in/up to fit the bracket in up against it and the frame.. would it be stronger to weld a gusset off of each side of the bracket, angled out and downwards / \ but out more, so theres less stress being put on the actual shock tower metal and weld area? i could still also put 2 gussets on the top coming off the shock tower.. or would that even be necessary? i pretty much got it down other than that, and whether i set the bag straight at ride height, or laid out.. so hopefully someone helps me out with all that before i wake up and start cutting wish me luck.. ill take pics for the next person like me..
