thinkin of goin 2 link

okay...no haters or bashing this type of link or nuttin but, on a dawg, is it safe to go from the leaf perches for a leverage setup? the guy that wants to do my setup said if i dont plan on hittin sides (which i dont) i could just go 2 link and run it from the perch or whatever through a U-bolt type deal, like leafs are stock. and lay out nicely. would this be safe at all? and i know the effects of two link on going up inclines but i dont think thats too big of a deal for me.
