gas tank

ok i know a guy who has a bagged s10 (1st gen) which he drags, has a stock gas tank and made his own raised x member for it. hes gone threw like 3 tanks even w/ the x member. i think he jus didnt raise it enough, but my pops swears up and down that no x member (from suicidedoors.com, say) is gonna solve that problem and i need a fuel cell. anyone wanna help out? my 98s gonna get dragged of course, but i dont know what i need. thanks and sorry for the length.
