what usually causes backfire?
my 2.2 is backfirin once in awhile...it has no cat and it has exhaust leak...i havent checked the timing yet cause i dont have a gun, and the carb is set right....i think it might be that i dont have a cat so the unburned gas and the oxygen sucked in from the exhaust leak are reacting and firing when it is revving down
what do you do to fix it
