Motor swaps are very uncommon in California because of the smog laws. Very strict.

but in SC there are no smog rules/laws lol...so we can do it, but not many have in the minis

my mounts were simple to make, just needed the make the plate the correct angle, and made supports. i just used 5mm thick mild steel flat bar. Would be 100 times cheaper to make them yourself as postage would cost more than the bracket itself.

damn swap and truck. now that is something i would love to do to my 82. only problem is no one does the wire harnesses for such a swap

Update:
Finally some paint will be on my truck.
I should have some photos up soon once paint is complete.

Then its time to put my motor back in and get the biatch running.

hey man, loving the truck!! i got one jjust like it but no swap or shty like that... how much you think it would cost to get hooked up with RHD shit from you guys, to me up in canada?? prolly an arm and a leg eh?? ive always wanted to do that conversion, if any one has any hook ups or ideas let me noe....
