IRS on A 93 Jimmy?

My friend has a 93 Jimmy that hes bagging. He wants to put an independant rear suspension under it but neither one of us really knows what will work since its an SUV. I was thinking maybe a vette or supra but they may not work on A Jimmy. Anyone got any input?
