JL W3's keep blowing

Can any one tell me if they have this problem too. I am running a kenwood excelon 1600 watt amp and two 10 inch w3's. Its in a custom made box and everything. I don't push them that hard or anything. I listen to punk so theres not that much hard bass. But for what I paid for them I am totaly unsatisfied!
