Hack It?

I just put my 20s on my truck..and in the rear fenderwells do I need to cut out that ridge where the bed meet's the fender inside the bed in order to lay out. I have 255/35/20( Sorry it's kinda hard to explain) Thanks..last minute stuff for Heat Wave is killin me..later.
