Swappin' Rear-ends?

Hey guys, I just purchased a 92 cab plus mazdawg 4 banger with manual tranny but the rear axle is warped, i found one out of a 81 mazda, will it fit? also, i'm wanting to make this truck a convertible, and swap in a long wheel base bed and get a custom driveline cut to set everything back...
