spindles

i want to lay lower in the front of my civc and it seems as if the only why to do that is to cut the spindle down a little so the upper contral arm doesnt go through the hood. im wondering if anyone knows of were i can get drop spindles or knows of a plase that can kut them down. i know this is possable because scootamac made his own so im tryin to get some help from you guys to point me in the right directionthanks
