hydraulics help!

i have a 24 volt system, 1 pump, 2 solenoids. for some reason when i hit the switch just the motor turns, i've checked the pumphead shaft and the shaft coupling and the motor shaft all good. solenoids are brand new and work, i put on a new dump and all new lines. i appears that the motor is turning counter-clockwise, is this the wrong way????? the reason i ask is there seems to be air bubbles in the fluid after i hit the switch. i have been on the phone with reds and they dont know whats up, has this ever happened to anybody else before???? the pump work fine when i took it off the truck now there is nothing. please help my truck is on the pavement and it cant get up!!!!!!!!!!! thanks in advance
