any way to tell parts years from one to another?

i swapped a guy some parts awhile back and he got the complete front setup for me from a truck his buddy had and he didnt know the year range...i have everything that goes between the control arms and the arms too...is there anyway to tell what year range they cam off of?...i know they are 2wd as they are 5 lugs so that helps but that's all i do know...he said they cam off a truck so i know they arent 4 runner stuff either...any help would be awesome guys...thanks in avance for any given...i can get pics sunday 10-12-09 if it helps...

If it is 5 lug that means it is definitelly 2wd truck. Grab some pics and that will help. Also take a measurement of between the radiator support mounting holes. If it has coils then it is 95-up tacoma. Torsion style, earlier will need pics.

it's just the control arms, spindles, hubs, and brakes...no clip...i'll try to grab pics in the morning sometime and post them...he said they cam from a 80's model he thinks but his buddy said it was a 90's so i have no f'n clue which to go by...
