I'm stuck...

Okay, so here's the deal. Pulled the bodydropped yota out and noticed that my bumper is still sitting way to high off the ground...about 1 1/2", or there abouts. The body is laying rocker. The front horns have a big z, nearly 3.5", while the body drop was about 2 3/4". The extra 3/4" was from the motor being z'd up. The issue I'm having is my bumper should nearly be laying on the ground. When I measured while it was jacked up, there was less than 1/2" difference between the frame by the door and the bottom of the newly z'd frame horns. My thinking is that I would have to drop the front horns about another inch or so, but by doing that, my fenders would not line up with the core support because of the fact that they are laying in their natural position. Here's what I mean.

I took out the core support and notched out a little of the fender so it would hang from the two mounting bolts by the door and cowl:

Now the fenders are just hanging off of those two mounting bolts with nothing keeping them from their natural position, and here's the alignment to the core support:

As you can see, it's nearly perfect, considering the core support is just sitting in position, not actually bolted in properly, but it gives you an idea of how the core support and the fenders line up perfectly. So in my estimation, the front horns are dropped an equal amount to the body, right? Otherwise, these two wouldn't line up (fenders/core support). Am I off somewhere?? Either way...this is what I'm dealing with. This is with the core support in and the bumper tabs sitting on the core support tabs and finger tight bolts in place:

I know!!! I see bodied pics of yotas, my year, and they are sitting about where I am on the rocker, and the valance is flush with the pavement. I can't figure out what's up though. Is there a difference between the 4wd and 2wd valances/bumpers?? I don't know. Hopefully someone here can help....maybe we can solve this together!! LOL!!

I'm having one of those days man....just went out to move the taco in the garage and nothing but smoke everywhere from the cab. Turns out the wiring for the switches decided to melt all over the carpet. Luckily I was able to get all of the melting cable out just in time to see the smoke coming from the dash too. A few halon shots later I was able to stop everything and cut out the shit wire. Now I get to move the priority to the Taco for some new valve wiring since it's the daily.

Listen to this, last week I was heading to my buddy's wedding and that's when I noticed the windows had been busted up with bb guns. Today, I was getting the truck ready to roll to my wife's sister's wedding....and this happens. Who says trucks don't have souls???!!! God I hate minitrucks....LOL.

I was just looking on partstrain.com, and it there are two types of valances, ones that fit 2wd and ones that fit 4wd. Honestly, the 4wd looks longer. I also found this pic of a dude from SSM with our body style and a 4wd valance:

and here's a pic of the the 4wd valance from partstrain:

and here's the 2wd that I bought:

Now I'm no rocket scientist, but that dude sure looks to be rolling a 4wd valance, if you match the pics. What do you think??

i dont remember exactly, but i do believe the 4wd valance is a little bit taller. but i like the look of the 2wd personally. the 4wd bumper and valance just looks too wide.

It does look a little like a "scooper" cause of the overall size, but would this close the gap between the valance and Mother Earth??

i know the 4 runner bumper/valances sit lower than the 2wd stuff also.

yes there is about an inch and half to inch and 3/4 difference between 2wd and 4wd valances.
