Okay, so here's the deal. Pulled the bodydropped yota out and noticed that my bumper is still sitting way to high off the ground...about 1 1/2", or there abouts. The body is laying rocker. The front horns have a big z, nearly 3.5", while the body drop was about 2 3/4". The extra 3/4" was from the motor being z'd up. The issue I'm having is my bumper should nearly be laying on the ground. When I measured while it was jacked up, there was less than 1/2" difference between the frame by the door and the bottom of the newly z'd frame horns. My thinking is that I would have to drop the front horns about another inch or so, but by doing that, my fenders would not line up with the core support because of the fact that they are laying in their natural position. Here's what I mean.
I took out the core support and notched out a little of the fender so it would hang from the two mounting bolts by the door and cowl:
Now the fenders are just hanging off of those two mounting bolts with nothing keeping them from their natural position, and here's the alignment to the core support:
As you can see, it's nearly perfect, considering the core support is just sitting in position, not actually bolted in properly, but it gives you an idea of how the core support and the fenders line up perfectly. So in my estimation, the front horns are dropped an equal amount to the body, right? Otherwise, these two wouldn't line up (fenders/core support). Am I off somewhere?? Either way...this is what I'm dealing with. This is with the core support in and the bumper tabs sitting on the core support tabs and finger tight bolts in place:
Help!! Is this just what I'm going to have to live with?? If so, fine, but it doesn't seem right to me. Thanks guys
