Not really sure. Like I said, I started pulling from the LED's I was mounting to see what did what. Check the fuses in the kick panel, check harnesses, pretty much everything. Shit like this is usually more of a pain than anything else. Try to isolate where the problem is. Is it only on one side? Pull the tailights off of the harness and see if the gauges/front corners still light up. If they stop, then you've isolated the problem. Try the same thing by disconnecting the front corners. Gotta play with it.
i got custom taillights... so if those r the problem... then wut?
because its both corner lights
First, disconnect those to see if they ARE the problem. If they are, what kind are they?? When you say "custom taillights", elaborate a little. Caddy?? LED?? Euro??
they use bulbs also. theyre after market taillights i found on ebay. they came with their own harness for the lights
So did you have to splice the harness in to your stock wiring??
no... they plugged right in with the wires that were originally there. i honestly think i might of hit something when i was in my accident. becuz thats when i started noticing the lights and gauges turning on. but i didnt think anything of it becuz everythign else runs fine
Could be, could also be a bad harness. I had the wrong harness on mine and that's what was causing all the mess. After your accident is when you noticed it, but it could have been happening earlier, who knows. Check all the harnesses and wiring that has to do with the signals, running, and tails and you'll probably find the issue. Good luck.
thanks ill let u know when i figure it all out
