okay so my question is, are my corner lights and guage lights supposed to turn on when i press the brake? its basically liike the brake lights, but in the front lol
everything else still works fine so thats y im askin if its supposed to do that or not
no they are not. is this the only car you have ever ridden in or drove? have you never noticed that none of the others dont do it?
never paid attention..any ideas of wut the prblem can b then
It's stock and they're doing this??...or have there been some mods to anything electrical?? Chances are something is connected to the brake wiring that's not supposed to be there.
as far as i know there havent been any mods to the wiring. i changed the taillights out but i still didnt notice it till after i got into my accident and my driver corner lights got ripped off, but just the bulb... i replaced the bulb and it still does it
wow huh.. yeah its not suppose to do that man.. kinda obvious but i guess not
Could be a short in the system that is causing it to happen, maybe from the accident. I know that a short is what can cause your turn signals to flash real fast, and that affects both the front turns and the rear. Your best bet is to take the lights out and check all the wiring. Who knows, maybe the harness got pinched or broke from the accident. Doesn't hurt to check all the fuses either. Kick panel and engine bay.
I just reread your original post, and I didn't realize it's the gauge lights too. Guarantee it's something crossed with your wiring. My gauges were doing the same thing, and it started when I was wiring in my LED's in the rear. I couldn't get brake, turn, and running to go at the same time cause I had the wrong harness. Every time I would hit the brake, my gauges would light up. I had to pull wires off one at a time to find the culprit, but it fixed it.
any idea of what i should check on the wiring then?
