sounds like a wiring issue to me, either ground or otherwise, the light blinking fast is because the current is wrong.
the turn signal staying on when your headlights are on means that the power wires going to your turn signal and your head lights are crossed.

but why would it all of a sudden start doing it. Every thing worked fine then all of a sudden

could be a couple things, wires got hot because of some kind of short or something that would create very low resistance. wires could be crossed and that could lead to fraying therefore shorting. My best idea would be to take it apart and look for broken wires
