Question about new 8g 8 port tank i ordered

I ordered a 8 gallon 8 port tank from suicide doors for my truck, im getting it to free up some room in my bed (right now I have 3, 3 gallon tanks). The tank i ordered has 8 1/2" ports on it and im running half inch line to 3/8" valves all around I was wondering if having half inch fittings coming off the tank running to half inch lines will slow down the speed of the fill and dump of my system? the reason i ask is because right now i notice that on the 3 gallon tanks i have, the holes are not half inch on the tanks they are like 3/8" i think (havent got a chance to unhook the lines to check) I'm just wondering if the new tank i gots rather large half inch holes will affect the speed of my system now?.

any help would be greaat

probably not enough to notice. half inch lines match well with 3/8 valves.

one more questions to keep it in the same thread, does mounting your valves on the tank make them wear out faster?

I buy all my fittings from my local NAPA store.

one questions (more like the hundreth heh), I need this fitting but i need the threading on it to be 3/8" and i need the air line insert to be half inch, which one of these do i need? The reason I ask is because I am not sure what OD and NPTF stands for and i dont wanna order one with backwards sizes.
