Quick question do you have to fish plate every joint will back-halfing??
I was going to plat the point for the nothc and where it is joined to the old frame everything else is cut on angles with the bottom angle like this /(if you get what I mean) so it puts the load on the tube instead of trying to pull weld apart I will post a pic tomorrow

Really anything from the bags foward would be a good idea to reinforce. The correct term is "Shear load gusset" Lets all say it together now...

Yeah I know what the correct term is but I didnt want a bunch of post of "What is a shear load gusset?"
I'm going to be calling you in a few days about some stuff the gussets being one of them,
I'm running bag on upper bar on this set up so I was thinking from the point in my notch forward

Yeah I generally use them from the point that the bag mounts forward. The high stress points.
