battery

ya i was wondering wat battery is best to run on a bagged truck becuse i got a durlast battery from autozone and it dies in 3-4 days it just drains it so wut battery would u guys run?

How old is your battery? What kind of shape is the battery ends in ? Do you know for sure you don't have a drain on the system when its turned off? Is your alternator working properly?

Are you running 12v compressors? could be your cycling them too much and need something like an optima or the orbital (napa equivelent ). I have been running the Orbital in both cars and my truck for quite some time and no problems with them.

it was running an az compresser but i changed the compresser to a viair 380 an it still killed but i think its not charging right so imm a take back the altenater back 2 autozone an have them test it

I dont think its your battery is the problem. ive had the same duralast (which is trashed and i should replace) for 5 years now. been running dual compressors, system, and everything else off the same battery. hell ill even let the truck sit for a week and go out, it starts right up every time. id check out your charging system or look for things that may be on after the ignition is turned off.

I agree as well...sounds like the charging system to me. Id have the alt checked out & go from there. Another thing too...with all that stuff running on your system make sure that youve got plenty of good grounds!! I was having the same problem as you with my Eclipse when I had air on it & it was the a combination of bad altnernator & not enough grounds.

. . . as far as battery choices or brands, I run a Optima yellow top, love it and dont regret it one bit, BUT, it seems you have some issues with something else there . . . Most people forget when you upgrade the power wires or cabling, they do not upgrade the grounds, this IS very important, GREAT POINT !

thanxs dudes im gunna check all the wiring from the altenator to the batery also another ? idk y but my dumps keep going out first it was the back dump and now the front they were working good then they just stop clicking like it loseses power for some reason i checked all the wiring an its all connected like it clicks wen ever it wants 2 but has any body else ever have this problem before?

if you hit your switch and the valve does not click, check to make sure you have power, if you have power check your ground for the valve.

i did all that everythings good

maybe you have gunk in your valves that is cloging them up
