I am planning on purchasing a 2wd 1995 4 runner 4 door. My qusetion is I heard that the frame has 4wd suspension minus the transfer case. Is that true? Or do I still have to find a toyota donor frame? My plans are to stock floor it with Cando A-arms and supra irs.

you heard correct. all 4runners are "PreRunners". get a regular cab short bed pickup frame. all these big dogs around here doing full frames, you should be able to pick one up cheap. you'll have to chop off the back and redo most of the body mounts. or just get a front clip from the junk yard.
