No one said I was taking anything out on you at all. When I wrote this earlier I was in a rather good mood. So now I could be a total a-hole here junior but i'm not going to be, I never intended on being one. I had simply made a point that there is no reason for you to believe that all "donkers" don't pay for their stuff, which is rather childish of an accusation. I have several good friends that have Donks, they worked hard for the money to build them. Sure its not my thing, to each their own thats what makes a person an indiviual.

Yes, $419 is rather expensive for a hood, but its not an oem hood either. it would be his decision on what he spends his money on since its his ride, not yours.

Junior, I have read quite a few of your post and you seem to be a very disrespectful person towards other peoples opinions or answers. You can ask anyone here on the forums i'm not out to start any trouble. I've helped more people on here than you've been able to piss off. Just for the record I'm Dan the owner of Show Down Customs and as far as the price of my hoods I think the price is fair, if you ever bought one of those cheepie hoods you know you spent a good bit of time just to get it to fit and if you were lucky enough to make it fit the under side is raw fiberglass, and if you want to build your own and you got the skills go for it ,but if you value your time and do the math you really arn't saving that much.
I called the Toyota dealer yesterday and he quoted me a tacoma hood at $385.00 then you start cutting and building a scoop into it, it's hardly worth the 34.00 you save.

I will say from experience that the unlimited product hood sucks big balls I wish I had known about the show down hood. It took me 2 weeks of cutting mending and reglassing that piece of crap.

I have one of Show Downs first hoods for a 88 Toy, & can say with out a ought that this is a quality product, & priced fairly!!
You get what you pay for with all parts, custom parts,as building a custom ride is pricey!!
