traded the mazda for a yota

well i traded my bagged and body dropped 87 mazda for a lowered 94 toyota motor and everything runs great but the truck is some what hacked the rear has a notch for 22's for some reason thats going to be gone. the question i had was im going to build a somewhat fast motor i found an 85 celica with a 22re motor fi everything will that motor work in my truck? or should i just leave it in the junk yard instead of building it up??

do a conversion.. lexus 4L toyota 2jz-gte with a single turbo conversion or a chev V8

another one ive seen here (australia) is the 3.8L ecotec or buick motors and u can get them in turbo or supercharged if u wanna go that way

or a nissan SR20 (if you're into that)

Congrats on the new truck. I say if you're gonna do a swap, dont crossbreed. Go with toyota or lexus. hard to get a good lexus motor over here...

yea i agree.. if u want info on the toyota 1j or 2j conversions look on coz its a pretty common conversion (for those who do one) in australia, u should b able to get a fair bit of info on it
