look under your dash, find where the parking brake mounts to the firewall. There should be a little square box with a switch on it. Adjust it till the light goes out.

Look under the dash & youll see where the parking brake slides back & stops against it. Not hard at all to locate & youll see where you can adjust it,
but after you do that Id still have my alternator checked just to be safe!

if the alternator is bad, the charge light and the E-brake light will come on together and stay on.
probably just the sitch below. follow the e-brake arm down. you'll run right into the switch.

and even better... once you remove your ebrake.. you cut that switch out and just tie the 2 wires together..waaa la no more light .. ever

well i took the switch out and tied the two wires together and the light is still on. someone told me the switch separates the wires instead of connecting them when the brake is applied, so i took the wires apart and the light is still on. why? and how can i make it go away for good without taking the bulb out?

yea there are two wires coming off the top of the cap on the reservoir
