Disable Auto Headlights 2000 S10

i was wondering if anybody knew how to disable the automatic headlights and/or DRLs.. i molded my dash so i had to take the sensor for day/night out and now my headlights automatically come on no matter what... and i dont want to have to push the dome override 4 times.. anyone know how to disable this feature?
