yea so while a friend of mine was bracing my front end today we went ahead and flipped the ball joints this shoundnt have any affects on it will it everything is stock all the way down to the bolts
nah Nick you wont have any problems....
i thought u were suppose to go w/ grade 8 bolts when u did this..i maybe wrong..
the stock bolts are fine. sometimes, you need longer ones, then you replace w/ longer grade 8 units.
The stock ones are studs that sometimes arent reuseable.
Flipping the balljoints slightly changes your suspension geometry, but nothing noticeable.
ok so which ones do you flip and y and what not for reference so everyone can know.
You flip them both. It gives you a 3/4" drop. To keep the geometry 100% correct, you need to put a 1/4" spacer under the upper balljoint to raise it up a little more and keep it in the same location.
oops i just flipped the top ones is that ok? and i had no probs with the stock bolts nothing was in the way
If you only flip the top its not really doing anything.
