Grounding valves

I am not wanting to have a mile long ground wire on my valves. Say If I ran a Tee off of my bag Can i just screw the bracket for the valves on and Just ground it to the valves itself and not hte vehicle body or frame itself? I know it sounds stupid But I have never had electric fast valves, just juice and manuals. Thanks
