Clear Lense LED's

I want to get the LED bars with the clear lenses for my white truck but was wondering if they are illegal in TX? I see them all the time and have always wondered this. I thought it was you are supposed to have a red reflector on it but I am not sure. Anyone with there ever have any problems from the law? Thanks
