My friend has a Blazer with a stock 350, that gets about 18 MPG average. He's also got a bagged '73 Chevy stepside with a TPI 350, and he gets 21 mpg average in that. Before he had a carbed 350, bored .060 over with a big cam, and got 20 mpg. Most V8s do get good gas mileage. You get worse with a V6 because it has to work harder to move a big vehicle. I'd like to know what a 350 in a little Yota would get mileage wise. The TPI thats in my friends truck used to be in a Volvo wagon and it got about 23 MPG average.

My Ranger got 14 MPG.

someone in another forum told me that if i removed the emmisons crap itll make the truck run rich , then the motor will take a poop, so im just gonna try and hide most of it i guess
