Should i fix myself?

Ok recently I got in a wreck. This girl pulled out of me when i was on my way home from college right before thanksgiving break. The wreck was her fault. I already got the money to get it fixed and i got a quote from a shop for 1900 to fix it, thats putting a 4runner front end on it and put it in primer. I looked up the parts that i need and it would only cost around 8-900 for all the parts i need maybe less. A friend told me yesterday that he had a garage and all the tools i needed to do it. What do you think i should do? Let the shop do it professionally or do it myself? Thanx for the imput.
