what wires do i use to wire in my 231v6?

i hav 87 b2000 with a th350 transmission and a 231 buick v6 in it. wha color of wires do i use and where do they go? also on my 89 b2200 where does the wire on my carb plug in at, i think its black w/yellow stripe?
