Will any yard 6G72 fit... to replace my orig 6G72

I hope to buy a replacement 6G72 motor for my tired 6G72... V6
from a wrecking yard.....

they seem to be a very common motor..... will they all fit... bolt in to my 5 speed 4x4 mighty max?
for a successful swap?

i would look into a 74 or 75 engine if i was replacing a lousy 3.0 (rather have the 2.4). more torque and horsepower is always a nice thing.
