I like your trucks, i have a 4x4 and im looking to do sum what of a serious lift, my friends think im an idiot for not leting it go and geting a toyota. im guna need it to flex sum no major rock crawling and im ok with modding the frame, im looking for at least 5" on top of 31X10.5

it has torsions bars in the front unfortionatly are maxed out

I have herd rumors of swaping in a solid front axel but cant find forums on that
im guna try and post a pic of it.. i love your minis hope sumone can help with my 4x4

nice project I think yours is the first one I've seen lifted! Did you figure out what you were going to do? Welcome to the site!

welcome to the site.
i'm not to sure what kind of solid axle you would need, but i'm sure you can have a driveline custom made. then just fab up some leaf spring and shock mounts.
you may be able to find some more info at pirate4x4.com. i've never been on there but i've heard that people there know their stuff.

for a SAS the easiest axle is the dana 30 out of a jeep cherokee XJ because the tcase outlet is on the driverside on our trucks the dana 30 its a little wider than the ifs so getting both the front and the rear (chrysler 8.25) off of the XJ and this will help alot for getting lower gears since getting gears for maxsand D50s is very difficult as for suspention thats up to you the rears you can use the original springs and do a flip kit but for the front there are a number of options between 4 link and coilovers to just leaf springs its all about how much you want and are willing to spend

hey thanks guys, with the sites you listed im coning up with a plan ill keep posting my project as i make more progress with it, iv ben talking with a few lift shops in the area and keeping my options open at the moment

I think with that much of a lift you could probably do at least 33s on it.
